Ingredients

  3tablespoons of butter

  2mugs of diced onions

 1mug of diced carrots

 1mug of diced celery

 1tablespoon of slashed garlic

  A teaspoon of dried mountain rosemary¼

 A teaspoon of powdered red pepper¼

 3tablespoons of flour 

 4cups of chicken stock 

 4cups of slashed potatoes 

One bay leaf

Method

Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat, then add the onions, carrots and celery and stir these ingredients from time to time until they become soft from 5 to 6 minutes

Add the garlic, rosemary, black pepper, powdered red pepper, and salt, and move them constantly for 30 seconds 

Stir the flour into the vegetables for one minute, then gradually add two cups of broth, making sure the flour does not form clumps in the mixture

Pour the rest of the broth and simmer until boiling, then reduce the temperature until tender, add the potatoes and bay leaf and cook for 20 minutes

Lower the temperature of the potato soup and remove the bay leaf. After that, add the cream and cheese

You can add an amount of salt and pepper as needed, then mash the potatoes to make them smooth

Serve the potato soup in a dish and decorate it with chopped parsley, onions, and grated cheese
