 Most of the videos posted on Tiktok are lighthearted for Entertainment purposes  but some people use it to post disturbing and confusing content .These are three stories about real cases in which tiktok played a role in a murderer

1. Ali Abulaban

Ali abulaban was a tiktok celebrity he had over 1 million followers. he was known for doing pop culture impersonations ,his wife Anna would appear sometimes in his videos . the couple seemed to be madly in love , they dance and tease each other in the videos .their relationship looked perfect from the outside , a young and beautiful couple living in a great appartement in San Diego California with their five year old daughter .Unfortunately that perfect relationship didn t last so long  .after a while ali became more and more possessive over his wife  , he became violent too .he couldn t bear the idea  of losing her so he started controlling her . the couple tried to keep that perfect image they had , hiding  all the issues and problems they are going through . Anna’s best friend started to pick up on what s going on because his behavior got scarier with time . he couldn t stand the attention his wife was getting and his jealousy took over him. His family ended up being scared to be around him. Also he was engaging in drug use which was revealed later and his content started to get a bit confusing and disturbing. In September of 2023 anna told the police that he pushed her causing minor injuries  , she wanted to get a restraining order against him ..On October the 18^th she asked him to leave the appartement they share .as a result Ali’s behavior became more and more erratic , he started drinking heavily , and posting videos of himself driving while drinking ..he tried to reach out to Anna but she refused to pick up his calls .As a result he snack back into the apprtement while she wasn’t there and downloaded an app on his daughter’s ipod so he can spy on them ..One day he heard a male voice accompanied by her laughing he became so enraged  and he assumed that she was cheating on him .The man she was  with was just a friend of her but Ali was so blinded that he drove to the apparetement , he shot him 3 times  then he shot Anna in the head killing both of them . After he picked his daughter from the school and told her that he had hurt mommy .He also confessed to his mother over the  phone .He was arrested later while his daughter was in ther car.Despite all the evidences Ali claimed to be innocent and pleaded guilty to the double homicide .

1. Kalecia Williams

Kalecia Williams was a beautiful 16 year old girl who loved dancing, filming tik tok videos and hanging with her friends .In December 2023 she was invited  to a chaperone holiday party that was held at an airbnb with a couple of friends from school . Her mother and her stepfather were comfortable letting their daughter  go to the party because she had gone to similar events before , they were also told the mother chaperoning the event would be the entire time there .However the party which took place the day  after Christmas was not like anything kalecias parents have been told , actually the party was at the hyatt regency hotel

At 12:02 am Kalecia was filming what would end being  her last video, she was performing a dance routine when someone appeard to enter her room without knocking .she was shocked and immediately turned off the video.Moments later gun shots were heard coming from her room but the partygoers weren t aware of what  was going on with their friend , shorty after the gun fire two men entered kalecia’s room and found her dead on the floor covered in blood when the paramedics arrived she was not breathing and had no pulse , they transferred her to the hospital where doctors  tried to save her life but they were unsuccessful . Her parents didn t know the truth until eight hours later after her death .They were so heatbroken but also enraged that they trusted that mother to take care of their daughter . They thought she should be held accountable since the room  was under her name. The suspect believed to be a juvenile male, his name was not released to the public .he was taken into custody and has been charged with felony murder and unlawful posession of a firearm.After the incident a lot of people joined Kalecia’s parents and protested outside the hyatt regency hotel demanding justice and answers of what happened that night .To this day kalecia’ s loved ones are still fighting for the justice as they are mourning her loss ..

3.Mahek Bukhari

Mahek bukhari is a 22 year old tiktok star from  England , she had over 120.000 followers and over 3.2 million likes .she recreated popular trends as well as makeup and fashion tutorials .Her videos seemed to be fun and lighthearted until she posted an unsettling one on January 3^rd 2023 where she was joking about killing someone..Her followers thought of it as a silly joke ,In ferbruary mahek her mother and a 21 year old woman were involved in a car chase ,they were chasing two 21 year old cousins and eventually ran them of the road destroying their car and taking both of their lives instantly.the reason behind the chase is still unclear .After it was revealed that two other men were involved in the  crime .Unfortunetly later  she was released from prison with her mother and four others  after the collapse of their trial
