The laws of dreams…we know nothing about them!
A person changes in his life every day. He is subject to laws he knows nothing about. In the state of wakefulness, it has a law, and in the state of sleep, it has another law that we do not know. Therefore, when a person sleeps, he sees things that the mind does not obey.
He may see himself talking to people who passed away to God’s mercy a long time ago, or he may see that he fell from a mountain and is not harmed, or that he goes to the end of the world and returns in a few minutes.
He sees with his eyes closed. He walks with his feet on the bed without moving, and he speaks with his tongue fixed and unmoving.
And he sees that he is punishing or giving pleasure! And all of this happens in one moment .A person’s transition from the law of wakefulness to the law of sleep… may happen in less than a minute! A person’s transition from wakefulness to sleep is similar to his transition from life to death!
Despite this similarity, the laws differ. The sleeper’s soul is returned to his body when he wakes up, and the person who dies does not have his soul returned to his body until the Day of Resurrection.
Allah says in the Qur’an ( (42) Or choose their intercessors other than Allah? Say: What! Even though they have power over nothing and have no intelligence? (43)
The Messenger of God ( Allah ) , Muhammad, may God ( Allah ) bless him and grant him peace, says: (By the One in whose hand is my soul, you will die as you sleep, and you will be
resurrected as you wake, and you will be held accountable for what you do.).
This transition from one law to another takes place without any human being knowing how it is done. This change from one state to another and then returning to the first state… are all laws that are absent from us, even though they fall upon us and affect us.
Then where do dreams go after we wake up? To answer this question here, it is determined by two things: they are either stored in memory or they are forgotten.
Talking about dreams opens the door to many questions, for example: Is the occurrence of dreams normal?
And, why do we remember some of these dreams while forgetting others?
Then there are dreams that we see in color and dreams that we see in black and white?
Some scientists say that the occurrence of dreams is evidence of a healthy mind, and that repeating them daily is considered a natural and completely healthy thing, whether we
remember them or forget them.
Other scientists say: We usually dream of what you cannot achieve while awake, so dreams can be considered a way to express our wishes.
For example, when you sleep hungry, you dream of delicious food, and also when you sleep thirsty, you dream of rain, seas, and water coming from every side of you.
As for the relationship of dreams to the future, one psychologist says that during wakefulness, our sense of time is in an upright position, and therefore we are aware of what is happening only in the present moment.
